SAC is an offshore sailing race on a 5m-long sailboat. The basis of participation is gentleman ship and good seamanship. The rules are basic and clear:

• Building your Setka A or B
• Sailing single or double-handed across the Atlantic
• Without assistance

The 1st leg starts on 11/11/2025, from Sagres, Southern Portugal, to Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the Canary Islands, where the finish line is on latitude N28o28′ between Santa Cruz and Longitude W 16o.

The 2nd leg or the main race starts from the Canary Islands to longitude W 61 between Martinique and St. Lucia.
